If you have already explored the better-known trails of Piani Resinelli and are looking for a more intimate and quiet place, Monte Coltignone is the perfect choice.
The path
Definitely the least popular trail among the others, but absolutely worth the effort and sweat.
The route starts near Valentino Park and is perfect even for those with little experience, as long as you wear hiking shoes (as always!).
Following the Coltignone loop route, you will arrive at the Villa Gerosa House Museum. We tell you about it in detail HERE.
Continue to the Panoramic Footbridge. After taking a much-needed break here, continue to Monte Coltignone.
The first section is a narrow path with steps. At the end of the steps you will come to the beginning of a climb that will accompany you to the top of the mountain.
Why go?
Mount Coltignone is ideal for a walk at the end of which you can enjoy a crazy view.
When you arrive at your destination take a photo break, in our opinion a souvenir photo here is a must! Afterwards enjoy the peace of this place. We are only a few kilometers from the parking lot and yet here we can feel a feeling of peace and relaxation, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Highly recommended at sunset to end a day of trekking on a high note.
